Rescheduling rebuilding projects is a daunting task but given the unknowns of the virus, prudence lends us to postponement. We must all work together to ensure the safety of our neighbors in need, our volunteers, and the contractors we work with.

We have already informed our homeowners and our volunteers of this decision. As individuals, and as an organization, we need to do everything we can to minimize contact with potential carriers of this virus for the population we serve.īecause of this, on March 13 the board decided to postpone all rebuilding activities to protect the health of our volunteers and our homeowners. This population is the very population most at risk of contracting COVID-19 and of experiencing the most severe outcomes from the disease. The goal of our organization is to help a population of individuals in need to stay in their homes by making as many physical updates to their homes as we possibly can. With the spread of COVID-19 across the country and here in Maryland, we have reviewed our plans for our April National Rebuilding Month. if food supplies remain the food pantry is open to other participants.As an organization, Rebuilding Together Frederick County is committed to the safety and health of our communities. – Drive Thru Food Pantry at Vallejo Community Presbyterian Church (2800 Georgia Street) for low-income veterans, seniors and disabled homeowners. Please contact us if you are interested in delivery volunteer opportunities.Įvery Thursday at 12:00 p.m. Volunteer opportunities are limited to non-contact delivery of food boxes to homebound veterans, seniors, and disabled homeowners.

In 2021, RTSC distributed more than 650,000 pounds of food along with 1,000 Safe At Home Kits and 60 Raised Garden Beds.įinancial Donation – a donation of any amount is welcome.
